Giorgio Armani announces the reopening of Armani/Silos in Milan and the extended duration of Heimat. A Sense of Belonging exhibition. The exhibition dedicated to legendary photographer <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/personalities/supermodels-tribute-photographer-peter-lindbergh" target="_blank">Peter Lindbergh</a> is now extended until 10th January 2021.

Curated by Giorgio Armani and Peter Lindbergh Foundation, Heimat. A Sense of Belonging is an ode to the unparalleled force between two visionaries whose legacy has greatly influenced our generation. The appreciation of each other&rsquo;s visions and works had made them close comrades since the Eighties.

&ldquo;I have always admired Peter for the consistency and intensity of his work. Timelessness is a quality I personally aspire to, and one that Peter definitely possessed. With this exhibition at Armani/Silos I want to pay tribute to a wonderful professional companion whose love for beauty represents an indelible contribution to our culture, not just to fashion&rdquo;

Heimat. A Sense of Belonging&nbsp;is composed of three different sections &mdash;&nbsp;The&nbsp;Naked&nbsp;Truth,&nbsp;Heimat&nbsp;and&nbsp;The&nbsp;Modern&nbsp;Heroine.&nbsp;From a selection of Peter Lindbergh&rsquo;s known and lesser-known works to the inspirations behind each of his works, the exhibition delves into the photographer&rsquo;s powerful storytelling and his idea of the modern heroine.

&nbsp;

The re-opening of the exhibition space and bookshop will comply with all the precautionary measures put in place by the authorities, such as maintaining a distance of 1 metre from other people within the venue, and the obligatory use of face masks for visitors and staff. Entrance will only be permitted following a body temperature measurement. Guided tours and access to the cafeteria are temporarily suspended.
