Lindbergh invites us all into his visual world of unpublished photographs, which is his first and last self-curated project.

Just right before his passing, the <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/personalities/supermodels-tribute-photographer-peter-lindbergh">renowned image-maker Peter Lindbergh</a> was completing his first and, what we now know, his last exhibition, curated by the master himself.

Currently, on show at D&uuml;sseldorf&rsquo;s Museum Kunstpalast, the exhibit, titled &quot;Untold Stories&quot;&nbsp;encompasses an edit of ten dozen unpublished and short-lived works, out of the countless assignments Lindbergh embarked on for the likes of Vogue, Harper&rsquo;s Bazaar, Interview, and Rolling Stone that spanned four decades.

His works are admired not only by the fashion crowd but are equally adored by the public for the timeless and sensual portrayal of women. He does not fixate on the image of youth that is often played out. He is captivated by women of all walks of life, especially seeing the beauty in mature women &ndash; the experiences of giving birth and rearing, through love and heartbreaks, and everything in between.

There is honesty with how he approaches fashion. He strips away the glamour and theatrics to get closer to the subject. Lindbergh has a distinctive charm and aura that allows the sitter to let loose and forget about the camera, as she engages wholeheartedly in this camaraderie.

From leading actresses to supermodels, each candidate is spellbound. Uma Thurman, Claudia Schiffer, and Naomi Campbell are some of the beauties that&nbsp;you are about to see with fresh eyes in this set of never-before-seen stills &ndash; more beautiful, more intimate.

For many of us who may not be able to experience the exhibit, you can&nbsp;pick up a copy of the coffee table book by Taschen. Lindbergh specifically chose a special uncoated paper &ndash; a thin sheet with a soft, open surface &ndash; as a deliberate aesthetic statement and to mimic how the photographs are presented live.
