The Swiss watchmaker recently unveiled  outstanding additions to amplify its timeless Twenty~4 collection and infuse feminine elegance for every precious moment.

Back in 1999, Patek Philippe launched its first model designed exclusively for women, the Twenty~4, which references the 24 hours of a day and night. It was created to celebrate the rich and varied lifestyles of modern active women, coupled with an assertive personality as a perfect match to partner refined and independent women on every occasion&mdash;home, work and play.

The Twenty~4 collection&rsquo;s classic and elegant design naturally complements women&rsquo;s on-duty and off-duty ensembles of work to casual and evening wear. More than that, it is a conscious investment primed with timeless design codes along with the qualities of versatility, functionality and longevity that translate&nbsp;to the&nbsp;&ldquo;buy less, buy better&rdquo; philosophy of sustainable consumption.

The Twenty~4&rsquo;s debut in the form of a quartz &ldquo;manchette&rdquo; model just over two decades ago was an instant hit, and it has since been interpreted in a myriad of versions. Known for its cambered rectangular case and a dial adorned with applied Roman numerals, the &ldquo;everyday&rdquo; wristwatch flaunting an Art Deco sensibility was said to be inspired by the men&rsquo;s Gondolo model introduced in 1993. Additionally, the original or inaugural Twenty~4 was also Patek&rsquo;s first stainless steel ladies bracelet watch.

To fulfil women&rsquo;s growing interest in mechanical movements, Patek then surprised us with the Twenty~4 Automatic in 2018. Marking a departure from the collection&rsquo;s cuff-style model, this new iteration of the modern classic boasted a round case with Arabic numerals, along with the same spirit and exclusive bracelet.

However, it would be two years later in 2020 before the manufacture would bring back the original Twenty~4 with a sleek revamp, culminating in the release of <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/jewellery-watches/rituals-of-time-patek-philippe-renews-the-twenty-4-collection">two models in steel</a>: Ref. 4910/1200A-001 with a blue sunburst dial and Ref. 4910/1200A- 010 with a grey sunburst dial.

Six months later in early 2021, Patek Philippe launches the third &ldquo;manchette&rdquo; or cuff-style model after the refresh last year. The latest Ref. 4910/1201R-001 with a rose gold expression and a chocolate-brown sunburst dial echoes the new Twenty~4 face from 2020 where Roman numerals and diamond markers have been respectively replaced by Arabic ones and applied trapeze markers. The luminescent and warm-toned combination emanates refinement and femininity&mdash;the epitome of the Patek Philippe style. Embellished by two immaculately set vertical rows of seventeen Top Wesselton Pure diamonds, totalling 34 diamonds and ~0.57 ct, the watch&rsquo;s distinctive two-tier case shape is highlighted. The dial&rsquo;s clean layout provides a centre stage for the applied Arabic numerals, applied trapeze-shaped hour-markers and rounded baton-style hands, all in rose gold with a luminescent coating.

Reflecting the symbol of the manufacture is a Calatrava cross, which is found decorating the crown. Extending the Ref. 4910/1201R-001&rsquo;s jewel-like countenance is the rose gold bracelet with fold-over clasp&mdash;fully hand-polished with a smooth and cosseting feel on the wrist. To power this contemporary emblem of everyday luxury that adds beauty to a woman&rsquo;s busy and dynamic life is the Patek Philippe caliber E15 quartz movement, whose components have been crafted with equal devotion as the fine workmanship found in Patek Philippe&rsquo;s arsenal of mechanical movements.

With respect to high-end mechanical watches of the stature of manufactures such as Patek Philippe, these creations are synonymous to not just luxury, but also fine craftsmanship and tradition. So precious and long-lasting are these handcrafted mechanisms, it is commonplace to find them in good working condition for many decades or even centuries beyond a lifetime with proper maintenance&mdash;so much so that they are bestowed as heirlooms that get passed down from one generation to another.

Evolving from its 2018 launch models, the latest Twenty~4 Automatic Ref. 7300/1200A-011 renewal in steel is endowed with a sophisticated olive-green dial&mdash;this colour nuance appearing for the first time in the contemporary Patek Philippe collections. Against a backdrop of luminous sunburst decoration sits the white gold applied Arabic numerals and white gold hands with a luminescent coating to ensure excellent legibility under all lighting conditions.

Details such as a white gold frame adorning the date aperture at 6 o&rsquo;clock adds to the watch&rsquo;s distinction. A beautiful shimmer from 160 diamonds of approximately 0.77 carat illuminate the pure circle of the case in two staggered rows, set according to the &ldquo;dentelle&rdquo; (lacework) technique. A new, patented fold-over clasp secured by four independent catches is featured on the polished steel bracelet.

Driving the timepiece is the caliber 324 S C self-winding movement whose meticulous hand-finishing and decoration is made visible from the transparent case back. This new Twenty~4 Automatic Ref. 7300/1200A-011 joins Ref. 7300/1200A- 001 in steel with a blue sunburst dial and Ref. 7300/1200A-010 with a grey sunburst dial.

The final model in the trio of new launches is the Twenty~4 Automatic Ref. 7300/1200R-011, sculpted in rose gold whose warm sheen runs from the case to a dial gilded with a rose gold sunburst adornment. The hour and minute hands, applied Arabic numerals and frame of the date aperture are all preciously fashioned in the same metal. The new, patented fold-over clasp adds comfort while the three rows of fully hand-polished rose gold links infuse finesse.

Similar to the Ref. 7300/1200A-011, a double row of diamonds in a &ldquo;dentelle&rdquo; setting give a brilliant boost, as with the finely hand-finished and decorated caliber 324 S C self-winding movement visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Both these models join Patek Philippe&rsquo;s existing selection of rose gold models: Ref. 7300/1200R-001 with a chocolate- brown sunburst dial or a &ldquo;shantung&rdquo; embellishment for Ref. 7300/1200R-010; jewellery versions: Ref. 7300/1201R-001 and Ref.7300/1201R-010; and Haute Joaillerie Ref. 7300/1450R-001 rendition.
