These ultra-graphic novelties are inspired by the designer's favourite Italian architectural landmark, the Doge’s Palace. 

Another Italian architectural gem is receiving the bigwig treatment at <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/jewellery-watches/roberto-coin-celebrates-love-with-love-in-verona-collection">Roberto Coin</a> and it&rsquo;s none other than the iconic Doge&rsquo;s Palace. An emblem of Gothic architecture in Venice, which is also where the designer himself is originally from, the palace lends the geometric forms and brilliant layering of materials and colours of its exteriors to the Palazzo Ducale range.

Here, the chiaroscuro effect conveyed by the marble and stone decoration on the fa&ccedil;ade of the 8th-century edifice is replicated with black and white diamonds. The clever juxtaposing of polished and brushed gold that results in a more subtle textural clash complements the bold composition, adding an extra layer of visual contrast to the jewellery pieces.

The soft pink shade of the Verona marble found on the sides of the palace too is referenced in Palazzo Ducale. Bringing its luscious rose gold into play, Roberto Coin not only captures the essence of the premises from an aesthetic standpoint but also imbues many novelties including rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces with its glowing spirit and long history.

Twisted gold threads embellishing the pieces along with the four-petalled flower motifs are the other two recurring design details worthy of mention. Crafted with much consideration and care, the collection speaks of an age-old Venetian culture where an extravagant and elaborate palace was the very abode of luxury and wealth.
