A new week and a new crush of the rising stars of fashion. This time, we look into the trans world.

No doubt, trans models have been breaking conformity in the fashion world this year and this week,&nbsp;we&nbsp;shed light to the model Dara, (<a href="http://instagram.com/dara._">@dara._</a>) who is the prime figure of non-binary beauty.

Being a transgender model, Dara&#39;s career is one that very few expected, especially as an unsigned model. But she rose to fame and created buzzes all over town when she made her runway debut at Marc Jacobs during New York Fashion Week.

Dressed in an Amy Whitehouse-esque hairstyle or what she calls&nbsp;&ldquo;a Debi Mazar &rsquo;60s look&rdquo;, she has certainly left the fashion world in awe (us included!).

Who&rsquo;s this model?

With a background in fashion journalism, the 23-year-old unsigned model from California has never thought of being in fashion shows.

On a feature on Vogue.com, she says, &quot;Fashion writing was what I was doing beforehand, but then I realized I loved the visual aspect of things.&quot;

Ever since her Marc Jacobs debut, the runway rookie is&nbsp;the buzz of New York City for her stunning beauty.

What she did?

No one ever says you have to be represented by an agency to walk for a show and Dara proved her point when she got herself cast for the Marc Jacobs Fall &rsquo;17 show&nbsp;as one of four non-gender conforming model who hit the runway.

Runway aside, she was also&nbsp;chosen as the cover star for Candy magazine, the first transversal style magazine, by her good friend and guest editor of the issue, Hari Nef.

Her involvement in an eclectic cast for the&nbsp;Helmut Lang&rsquo;s revival ad campaign is also her other step forward into the fashion world to represent the non-binary community in fashion and since then, she has walked the runways of the biggest designers including Kenzo and Moschino.

And she is also featured as <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/beauty/marc-jacobs-features-29-models-for-all-inclusive-shameless-foundation#image-4998">one of the 29 models for Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Foundation campaign</a>.

Why is she the one to watch?

Now, Dara continues to pursue projects she&nbsp;shares the same values with and working with designers who appreciate&nbsp;her existence rather than being magnified as the token trans-model.

And Dara&nbsp;is also serving us street style&nbsp;realness as we continue to catch glimpses of her fashion endeavours on Instagram.&nbsp;
