A new addition to the Gucci DIY service, you can now have customised Gucci knits in time for Christmas!

There&#39;s nothing truly better than a personalised one-of-a-kind fashion item for yourself and Gucci aced it with their DIY service.

And now, Gucci introduces a new addition to its celebrated DIY service &ndash; knits!

That&#39;s right, your Gucci Ace sneakers, Ophelia bags and men&#39;s tailoring aside, you can have your very own personalised Gucci sweaters &ndash; just in time for Christmas and the holiday season.

For the new DIY knits division, you can choose from&nbsp;four base colours (green, blue, red and white) and choose an initial to be intarsia-knitted to the sweater.

Unlike regular DIY where you add a leather or bedazzled patch to be stuck on the piece, the initial is carefully incorporated into the knitted body.

As for the silhouette, there are three available for your picking &ndash;&nbsp;a crew neck, a shawl collar bomber and a button-through cardigan &ndash; and they also have variations for both men and women.

For each silhouette, the initials will have slightly different placement: on the crew neck, the&nbsp;letter appears on the front, while on the cardigan and the bomber, it appears on the back.

Each order will also be finished with a unique &ldquo;ABCDEFGUCCI&rdquo; packaging.

And what&#39;s a Gucci project without its artist collaboration. For the launch of this new service, Alessandro Michele engaged six artists &ndash;&nbsp;Angela Deane, Isabella Cotier,&nbsp;Marc Burkhardt, Brianda Stuart, Amber Vittoria and&nbsp;Ashley Longshore &ndash; to create special illustrations to illustrate the new Gucci DIY Knits.

The new&nbsp;Gucci&nbsp;DIY Collection is available on&nbsp;<a href="http://gucci.com/" target="_blank">gucci.com</a>&nbsp;and selected&nbsp;Gucci&nbsp;stores.

For the Gucci DIY service, a special augmented reality app is now available in a select number of&nbsp;Gucci&nbsp;stores worldwide, and a&nbsp;product configurator is available on&nbsp;<a href="http://gucci.com/" target="_blank">gucci.com</a>&nbsp;for customers to imagine what their chosen&nbsp;Gucci&nbsp;DIY item will look like with their own design.
