Dior's Fall/Winter 2022 collection is all about the future and technology.

The Dior Fall/Winter 2022 collection began in complete darkness. The runway was quickly illuminated by a figure covered in glowing organic linework. Soon, lights came on and the eye-catching look was unveiled as a form-fitting one-piece black unitard. This look was created in collaboration with D-Air Lab, an innovative startup that finds new ways to use airbag technology to protect researchers and experiments.
Still sticking with classic tulle manipulations, lace, and structured corsets, <a href="https://www.lofficielarabia.com/fashion-week/maria-grazia-chiuri-recontextualizes-fairy-tales-for-christian-dior-fall-winter-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maria Grazia Chiuri</a>&rsquo;s collection found a new space between Dior's cherished timeless pieces and a new futuristic mentality. One ensemble included intense leather gloves labeled "The New Era," while other flowy garments were paired with D-Lab constructions.&nbsp;
Unlike past collections inspired by tarot cards, zodiac signs, or different artistic movements, Chiuri's latest creation responds to the ever-growing conversations about the future of technology in fashion and the metaverse.

For models, the dress code included tight buns topped with headbands, and many donned a single dangling earring. The hair was perfected by legendary <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/kendall-jenner-debuts-new-orange-hair-prada-fall-winter-2022-fashion-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Guido Paulau</a>, and makeup was headed by long-time Dior favorite <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/peter-philips-on-how-to-recreate-his-wild-dior-couture-eyeliner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Peter Phillips</a>.
In the audience, VIPs included <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/rihanna-best-fashion-style-looks-age-birthday-pregnant-asap-rocky" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rihanna</a> (who arrived in a black lace bra and thong set, boldly showing off her baby bump in the most Bad Girl RiRi way possible), <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/yara-shahidi-facts-family-parents" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yara Shahidi</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/farida-khelfa-interview-jean-paul-goude" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Farida Khelfa</a>, Dior ambassador <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/anya-taylor-joy-new-dior-ambassador" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Anya Taylor-Joy</a>, and Blackpink's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/blackpink-jisoo-go-to-fashion-style-birthday-k-pop-age" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jisoo</a>.
