This is its biggest store in the world and Bottega Veneta has released a New York inspired capsule collection to celebrate its grand opening.

Ditching Milan Fashion Week for New York this season, Bottega Veneta has set its eye on New York this season where it hosted <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion-week/live-bottega-veneta-fall-winter-2018-show">its Fall/Winter 2018 show at the American Stock Exchange</a>, downtown New York City.

&nbsp;

And that&rsquo;s not all. The brand just opened its biggest store in the world, designed by none other than creative director Tomas Maier.

After five years developing the project, the Upper East Side Maison boasts five floors and combines three landmarked 19th-century townhouses.

But when you walk through its doors, there is a sense of intimacy that almost makes you feel like you&rsquo;re in a very cosy, yet luxurious New York apartment.

Maybe it&#39;s the duplex style ground floor, complemented by a small mezzanine that leads to the shoe salon. Or the separate floors for women&rsquo;s and men&rsquo;s ready-to-wear clothes.

But the golden ticket lies on the fourth floor, a new concept called &ldquo;The Apartment&rdquo;. The Apartment features Bottega Veneta&#39;s furniture and home collection&mdash; most of which are exclusive and made to order.

&ldquo;It will be very much like a real apartment. For the whole store, I wanted to maintain the feeling of being in a private home,&rdquo; said Maier in the press release.

There were even bookcases filled with coffee table reads and Italian art hand-picked by Maier himself. Don&rsquo;t get too comfortable or you&rsquo;ll start thinking you&rsquo;re at a (very rich) friend&rsquo;s apartment.

To celebrate the new store on 740 Madison Avenue, Maier also designed a 33-piece capsule collection of leather accessories called &ldquo;Icons of New York&rdquo;.&nbsp;
