Conceptualised as an &quot;exhibition&quot; for special projects and inspired by its year of creation, 1774 is Birkenstock&#39;s lavish adventure to present unique collaborations with the world&#39;s brightest minds in fashion. From <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/rick-owens-birkenstocks-collaboration-sandals">Rick Owens&#39; futuristic designs</a> and raffia-inspired&nbsp;Il Pellicano collaboration; right down to the monochromatic Valentino version, each collection is an ovation to Birkenstock&#39;s values in durability, functionality and sustainability.

And their most recent collaboration is an irresistible collection between Birkenstock and New York designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez aka Proenza Schouler, who came together to reinterpret the most iconic German sandals.

The result is an elegant fusion between the almost orthopedic flip flop and the youthful spirit of the fashion brand: Birkenstock x Proenza Schouler .

Inspired by the aesthetics of utility wardrobe and athletic shoes, Proenza Schouler retained the essence of Birkenstock&#39;s iconic design, only injecting a touch of urbanism and luxury.

The limited-edition unisex capsule includes six pieces from the cult classics Arizona and Milano, crafted from bright Specchio leather in shades of white to black, silver, and even yellow, with industrial stitching and velcro closures, accentuating a new eclectic delicacy. More than a collection, it is&nbsp;a lifestyle and something we never knew we wanted until now.
