Creative Director Riccardo Tisci celebrates the strength of femininity by dedicating Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2021 to all women.

Burberry Creative Director Riccardo Tisci presents the Fall/Winter 2021 womenswear collection in honor of all women, including his beloved and inspiring mother. &quot;Throughout my life, my mother has been this incredible force of nature. As a single parent, she raised me and my eight sisters with unfaltering purpose and pride,&quot; said Tisci. &quot;So, naturally, I have always been drawn to strong women and, in turn, they have also given me the confidence to express my own femininity. They are not afraid to challenge expectations and I have always been in such awe of their determination. They are warriors.&quot;

A love letter to womanhood and the power of being female, Tisci&#39;s bold interpretation of the modern day woman for Burberry is one that breaks stereotypes and rewrites the conventional narrative. Set within the home of the British fashion house, at Burberry&#39;s flagship Regent Street store in London, the presentation opens with visionary rapper, DJ, and singer Shygirl reciting an original spoken-word piece.

Continuing to take inspiration from the themes already laid out at the Burberry Fall/Winter 2021 menswear show, the collection pays homage to the invincible force of Mother Nature as well as the British craft and the outdoor movements of the early 20th century. A nod to those who courageously ventured into nature in order to break the rules in their path towards a better future, the fluttering capes and flag references reflect Burberry&#39;s distinctive representation of the modern day woman with a twist.

With looks that reinvent tradition, give a sense of fluidity and encourage freedom of expression, Burberry&#39;s Fall/Winter 2021 women&#39;s collection carries a lot of strength and conviction seen across the models&#39; confident strut through the space.
