Marking her 10th year attending fashion week, Monica has plenty to celebrate at NYFW.

Fashion Week is nothing new to our managing editor Monica Mong and this year marks her 10th year at the shows.

But the recent New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall 2017 do have moments that freaked her out and sent goosebumps all over.

So in light of that, let Monica bring you through her amazing moments at NYFW including Alexander Wang&rsquo;s show at an abandoned theatre, Raf Simon&rsquo;s big debut and Marc Jacob&rsquo;s silent show!

What a good way to start the season, despite the snow storm! And it&rsquo;s with Raf Simons debut collection for Calvin Klein, which covered everything that embodies the American life. It&rsquo;s definitely a new year, new city, new logo and a new era for both Raf and Calvin Klein!

Hello, Mr&nbsp;Self-Portrait aka Han Chong! Thank you for making L&rsquo;Officiel Malaysia the first local press to be invited to your New York Fashion Week show, and yes your favourite Le Smoking velvet suit is hot!

I took a train up to the 125th Street and Broadway to the abandoned RKO Hamilton Theater, where Alexander Wang #wangF17 standing only show was. Inside the torn building, we celebrated the brand best collection thus far (for me at least). &nbsp;And to Wang&rsquo;s regular party animals, #noafterparty. Sorry!

In between shows, take a stroll and you&rsquo;ll realise that New York streets will never be boring. This is what I found on Lafayette Street at SoHo: the giant hand-painted illustration by San Francisco-based artist Jayde Fish for Gucci!

By Pier 76, Coach staged its Fall 2017 runway. This is, by far, the best show venue that comes with an amazing view! Right after the show, you can already buy the cute limited edition Rouge bag straight from Runway at all Coach New York stores in either the Donald Ducks, Convertibles or Cherries prints. No, I made no damage. I was really tempted but I didn&rsquo;t.

We celebrated Valentine&rsquo;s Day together in Tory Burch show theWhitney Museum of American Art. Everyone received a &ldquo;love&rdquo; diary from Tory. Love was really in the air as everyone greeted me &ldquo;Happy Valentine&rsquo;s Day&rdquo; wherever I go &ndash; even my housekeeper. I didn&rsquo;t expect Valentine&rsquo;s to be such a big thing in New York.

In Russian Tea Room just across of my hotel Park Hyatt, Kate Spade New York presented its Spring 2017 collection, which was inspired by the city Morocco. The great thing about it was the &ldquo;See Now, Buy Now&rdquo; approach!

Spring Studios, where Michael Kors staged his Fall 2017 show, has the best lighting inside out! Here&rsquo;s me and my Fashion Week buddy&nbsp;Duang&nbsp;Posh (from Harper&rsquo;s Bazaar Thailand) took the best portrait just outside the show venue.

SEA represents

Did you know that this season Marc Jacobs show didn&rsquo;t allow photography (which is not possible)? To boot, there was no music at all too!&rdquo;

&ldquo;Marc wanted the guests to pay a little more attention to the collection with those implemented. The finale where all models walked out to the street in front of Park Avenue Armory made it the most fashionable street in New York!

I love all the young and cult energy brought to the runways by cool Korean models like YoonYoung Bae (<a href="http://instagram.com/mulan_bae">@mulan_bae</a>), Sora Choi (<a href="http://instagram.com/sola552">@sola552</a>) and&nbsp;Sohyun&nbsp;Jung (<a href="http://instagram.com/cochon_j">@cochon_j</a>), as seen after the Michael Kors show!
