Paris marks Monica's full 10-year circle of attending fashion week and here's what she loved.

Paris remains my favourite among the fashion week cities (New York, London, Milan and Paris) for its showmanship, designers, set design, or the very essence of the City of Light itself!

And no, I have not gotten the chance to wait out my jet lag (from <a href="http://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion-week/editors-diary-memorable-nyfw-moments">New York Fashion Week</a>) and am still trying very hard to readjust to my desk jobs, but Paris Fashion Week Fall 2017 season was too exciting not to be shared.

Even between dealing with a&nbsp;sea of emails, photo shoots and finishing up a magazine&nbsp;all at the same time, I had to wrap it all up. After all, Paris marks my full 10-year circle attending fashion week.

And here&#39;s my take on Paris Fashion Week Fall 2017 shows:

Arriving in Paris, it is glad to see that people in the fashion industry still support diversity, equality and human unity &ndash; in a fashionable way of course (you&#39;ll see why further down below).

One of the most popular ones of the season is definitely Dior with its white bandana in various interpretations and designs. As we all say now, &quot;J&#39;Adior&quot;.

I swear to god, Loewe Fall 2017 runway was the darkest runway I&#39;ve ever been to, in my entire 10 years in fashion weeks.

Working only with Sri Lankan pianist and artist Lionel Wendt (1900-1944). Loewe&#39;s show saw a unique photography&nbsp;display paired with exotic rare orchids installation in a pitch black set.

Yes, the only focus we had was on Jonathan Anderson&rsquo;s brilliant designs.

The Darkest Runway

It was an absolute delight for me to be able to attend one of my longtime favourite&rsquo;s designer&rsquo;s show &ndash; Dries Van Noten.

And this was the 100th show by Dries Van Noten, where the collection resurrected his iconic prints and paid homage to the textiles of past designs.

Interestingly, this show also united cross-generational of legendary models and current muses and this might just be one of the most interesting castings&nbsp;of the season!

All time favourites like Kristina De Conunck, Amber Valleta and Kristen Owen were among the cast. A total fan&rsquo;s girl moment for me!

The 100th Show

One of the most talked-about shows at #PFW could be Comme des Garcons by Rei Kawakuba, ahead of her &ldquo;<a href="http://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/sneak-peek-rei-kawakubo-exhibition-metropolitan-museum">Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between</a>&rdquo; exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in May.

As always, she challenges our idea of fashion. As expected, Andrew Bolton, the curator of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art were spotted sitting side-by-side with Anna Wintour, watching another spectacular collection by the living legend.

C&eacute;line, or rather&nbsp;Phoebe Philo, never does much about her set-design at the Tennis Club de Paris as her collection usually says it all.

But, this time around, despite the strong and beautiful collection, she took us&nbsp;on a fashion carousel designed by Bureau Betak. Everyone just&nbsp;loved it!

I have to admit that the new Saint Laurent has the coolest headquarters! The second season Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello was set in its new headquarters on Rue de Bellechasse.

Pretty much maintaining the &ldquo;work-in-progress&rdquo; atmosphere, we were seated under this half-sheltered space where rain falls on models&rsquo; body as they walk.

One word: drama!

Coolest HQ in Paris

Karl Lagerfeld never disappoints when it comes to the set-design for Chanel&#39;s shows in the Grand Palais.

Though I have to say that this season was a little extreme with a full-sized Chanel rocket to&nbsp;fly us to the moon!

We are not kidding. This season, Chanel&#39;s theme is a space station (#ChanelGroundControl) and the rocket actually takes off at the finale!

One of the biggest perks of my job is to get the chance to meet&nbsp;or&nbsp;interview&nbsp;some of my favourite designers.

This season, it was&nbsp;the hottest female designer of the season &ndash; Maria Grazia Chiuri

Right after her second runway collection for Dior, I was rushed to the backstage at a very short notice and, by far one of my most &ldquo;exciting&rdquo; ones!&nbsp;(read the&nbsp;interview <a href="http://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/personalities/exclusive-maria-grazia-chiuri-dior-interview-backstage">here</a>)

Miuccia Prada&rsquo;s long term working partner AMO did a pretty cheesy set design in Palais d&rsquo;l&eacute;na for Miu Miu this season but not in a bad way, though!

Using&nbsp;Lavender fake fur, they wrap up the entire show space, including the speakers and staircases!

Yes, we were happily taking a lot of selfies and wefies&nbsp;&ndash; with Miuccia Prada, of course!

Miu Miu's Furry Tale

Another great thing and probably most exciting thing about being in fashion weeks is to visit the fashion exhibits in all the&nbsp;museums.

&ldquo;Balenciaga, L&rsquo;oeuvre Au Noir&rdquo; opened this season at the Mus&eacute;e Bourdelle. It is a retrospective for the man behind the brand &ndash; Cristobal Balenciaga, and his loves on the colour black.

Last but not least, a big thank you to these guys.

10 years of fashion weeks will never be the same without&nbsp;these&nbsp;faces I&#39;ve met or hang out with.&nbsp;
