A few steps from the Toji Temple in Kyoto, Maria Grazia Chiuri presented the Women's Collection for Fall 2025.&nbsp;

Dior flew to Japan to present the Pre-Fall 2025 Women's Collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri celebrating the fashion house's deep ties with the Land of the Rising Sun. The show took place in Kyoto, just in time for the storied cherry blossom bloom in the Toji Garden. The location served as a tribute to Christian Dior's passion for this fascinating country that inspired both him and designers who have followed, continuing his legacy of exceptional design.
The show took place on Tuesday evening under the jet-black night sky in the enchanting garden of Toji, located a few steps from the Buddhist temple of the same name. Soft lights illuminated the cherry blossom trees glowing a soft pink that contrasted the otherwise dark setting. Models sauntered down the paved gravel roads of the garden in a neutral palette of black and beige with pops of cobalt blue painted across anything from wrap blouses to flowing full-length skirts.
The refined nature of the collection was beautifully offset with swipes of pink eyeshadow reminiscent of the surrounding florals. Everything from leather biker jackets (very moto-boho) to beige trench coats was crafted with a bohemian flair that celebrated a laid-back approach to autumn dressing. Strappy leather thong-style sandals and singular dangly earrings worn by every model further accentuated this feeling, Elements of Japanese design were incorporated into the collection with natural motifs that looked like they came straight from the foliage of the Toji Garden itself.
With her Pre-Fall Collection, the creative director celebrated the longstanding legacy of Dior's connection to Japanese tradition and design that was exhibited with an effortlessly modern flair that serves as an inspiration ahead of dressing for fall.
