The duo explore the streets of Seoul in the newly launched UNIQLO : C Autumn/Winter 2025 collection.

Fronting our latest digital cover are two names making waves in their own right. Daiyan Trisha &mdash; singer-songwriter &mdash; who is now an AIM24 award-winner &mdash; actress, author, and UNIQLO&rsquo;s first-ever brand advocate in Malaysia, has firmly established herself as one of the leading names in the local entertainment scene. Jack Gohr, on the other hand, is a rising content creator and fashion voice, who recently represented L&rsquo;Officiel Hommes Malaysia as a Men&rsquo;s Fashion Week correspondent. Together, the seasoned star and breakout talent brought a refreshing synergy to the shoot.
With UNIQLO choosing the ever-buzzing Seoul as the stage for its <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/what-went-down-at-the-uniqlo-c-autumn-winter-2025-launch-in-seoul">UNIQLO : C Autumn/Winter 2025 collection launch</a>, we took the opportunity to produce a digital cover shoot of our own in the city. Set in the quiet yet captivating neighbourhood of Hannam-dong, and shot under the 30-degree Celsius late summer sun, the duo took the heat in stride &mdash; clad in pieces from the new collection designed by creative director <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/clare-waight-keller-talks-style-function-and-fluidity-in-uniqlo-c-aw25-collection">Clare Waight Keller</a>. Designed for movement and comfort, the elevated essentials mirrored the effortless cool of both the setting and the talents wearing them.

You&rsquo;re both fans of Seoul. What is it about the city that captivates you?
DAIYAN: Obviously, the food and culture! I love Korean food, and the culture is so rich and lively. Seoul is so unique and beautiful in my opinion. They have such a strong identity that every nook and cranny is effortlessly aesthetic, be it the hidden gems or the famous touristy spots. JACK: Seoul is truly a city that never sleeps, one that always brings good memories and breathes style and beauty. 
How would you each describe the other&rsquo;s presence in one word? DAIYAN: Just one word? I'll choose sweet for Jack. JACK: Charismatic.

How has working with someone like Jack, who's carving his path slowly but surely, influenced the way you view your own evolution as an artist? DAIYAN: Jack is as hardworking as he is supportive of his peers. It's inspiring to see how he shapes his footsteps becoming an artist of his own. In this industry, you have to be extremely diligent and dedicated to your craft to stand out. Jack definitely has the potential &mdash; he's a full package. But most of all, I love his kind heart.
How has working with someone like Daiyan, who&rsquo;s a few steps ahead in her journey, inspired or challenged you creatively? JACK: The biggest thing I&rsquo;ve learnt from working with Daiyan is to be humble. Always remember why you started and never stop doing things that make you happy.

Which look or piece from the UNIQLO : C collection resonated most with your style, and why?
DAIYAN: Too many. I like that they're all equally as stylish as they are comfortable. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the tweed set, classy and evergreen. Makes me feel like Cher from Clueless! JACK: Definitely the Crew Neck Full Zip Cardigan, in grey colour. It&rsquo;s simple yet fashionable that you can mix and match with other pieces to make it your style too. And you can never go wrong with a cardigan!
If your style were a playlist, what would be three songs on it? DAIYAN: Dreams by Fleetwood Mac, Pink + White by Frank Ocean, and Busy Woman by Sabrina Carpenter. JACK: Sweet, Affection and Heavenly &mdash; all by Cigarettes After Sex!

We&rsquo;re entering Q4. What has been your highlight of the year so far? 
DAIYAN: Definitely the trophies! Winning Best English Song at Anugerah Industri Muzik 24, and two awards at Anugerah Melodi Terhangat really filled me with pride and joy. My Raya song Jom Raya did really well, too. The seeds I planted from last year through music had really come into excellent fruition this year, and that made me so thankful. I also had three acting gigs that I was involved in this year that haven't come out yet, and I'm really looking forward to those as well. Last but not least, of course &mdash; being appointed as UNIQLO's first and only brand advocate in Malaysia. I mean, what a dream! JACK: Being able to attend fashion week in Milan and Paris for the first time would be a personal achievement that I will remember for a very long time! Thank you, L&rsquo;Officiel, for having me as a correspondent! 
As creatives from Malaysia and a part of a generation redefining global influence, what does representation mean to you right now?
DAIYAN: It is the most important time to highlight representation right now, even more so because people are slowly opening their minds to it. Maybe they didn't know the world of Southeast Asians exists (and has always been killing it!), but this is the time where other people of the world are paying attention to our beauty, talent and culture. We need to give more ways to SEA, especially Malaysians, more platforms to bring our names forward and we need all the support we can get from our own people too. JACK: To be able to represent your art as a creator, be it in acting, singing or social media content creation. Or simply just carrying yourself as a person overseas, because that is when you&rsquo;re carrying the name of a nation.

If you weren&rsquo;t doing what you do now, what path would you imagine yourself exploring instead? DAIYAN: I think I'll always be doing art and music, no matter what branch that would be. Probably a fashion line of my own, and become an entrepreneur. JACK: I would probably be a caf&eacute; owner. Making coffee every morning, meeting new people every day and having a few cats in the caf&eacute; sounds just like what I&rsquo;d do if I were not in the entertainment industry. 
What&rsquo;s one misconception people might have about you, and what&rsquo;s the truth? DAIYAN: That my wealth was "given" to me, and not earned. Whether they believe that I was born with a silver spoon, or that I have a sugar daddy, or that I'm the fourth wife of a rich Dato'. They all basically imply that I have money not because I work very hard, but in reality, I&rsquo;ve worked very hard for everything I have. I've been in the industry for 12 years now, and I've explored so many opportunities and have done so many things to become a better artist. JACK: Whatever&rsquo;s on social media is not entirely true. Life isn&rsquo;t always perfect, but I choose not to show it and I choose to show whatever I am comfortable showing. So, don&rsquo;t believe everything you see on socials.

What can we expect from you in 2026? DAIYAN: A lot of my acting projects are coming out next year, so probably more of me on the silver screen and big screen! Maybe more creative ventures, but that would be a surprise. JACK: Hopefully, I&rsquo;ll be back at fashion week again, and on even bigger screens as an actor. 
Lastly, what are you manifesting next, personally or professionally? DAIYAN: Personally, I would like to build a relationship with a person I can trust &mdash; maybe slowly talking about building a family when the time is right. Professionally, it's never-ending basically. Depends on my mood. [Laughs] JACK: To be on a solo magazine cover!
