"Sleeping Beauties" indeed. Check out the best beauty looks from this year's Met Gala.&nbsp;

Along with the obviously unique fashion choices crafted by some of our favourite designers for the Met Gala, it's important to also take a look at the glamorous makeup and beauty looks from our favourite celebrities.
Hair and makeup are central to crafting a Met Gala 2024 look. As this year's theme is "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," we watched co-chairs Zendaya and Jennifer Lopez serve stunning looks, along with other celebrities like Ayo Edebiri and Lea Michele. Ayo Edebiri's appearance exuded freshness, reminiscent of a blooming flower.
The radiant look featured a bright pop of pink blush, a simple reddish-pink lip, and a few strokes of mascara, making for a youthful and fresh look. The host, Zendaya, on the other hand, went a lot bolder with her beautiful look, as her Josephine Baker-esque eyebrows and dark two-toned lip communicated a macabre vibe. The burgundy red eyeshadow, concentrated at the lid and blown out up towards the brow, allows for a unique take on the smokey eye and accentuates the gothic tone of her look. While Zendaya pulled all the stops with her outfit and makeup, she decided to wear her hair in a simple and sophisticated bun with a few stray pieces framing her face. Emma Chamberlain wore a similar look that featured dark tones, which she dubbed "swampy" as per a quote she gave to Vogue.
"This is sort of a fantasy, enchanted-like theme. It&rsquo;s fun to do a dark twist on it&mdash;the underbelly of nature," Chamberlain said of her 2024 Met Gala makeup look told the outlet and hosts of the event.&nbsp;
It's clear that makeup looks can really make or break the rest of the look, and these celebrities and their makeup artists have gone all out, whether it be using their own brand's line of products (hint, hint, Rihanna) or other luxury makeup products from Chanel or Dior.
