One house, one spirit: the power of a vision

Versace Embodied is a statement of intent, an aesthetic shockwave that embraces the places, individuals, and symbols that embody the house's uncompromising spirit. Through this first chapter, the Italian house reconnects with its most visceral essence: the duality between body and mind, rigor and sensuality, the intimate and the iconic.
More than a staging, it is a choral work that blends photography, poetry, art, music, and cinema. Original works, sensitive echoes of Versace's founding values: strength, freedom, and uncompromising beauty. This is not a static campaign, but a field of expression open to those who, throughout the world, are redrawing the contours of culture.

Chapter 1 &ndash; Medusa, via Ges&ugrave;, 12

This creative odyssey opens with a mythical symbol: the bronze Medusa, silent sentinel of Versace's original headquarters in Milan, photographed by Camille Vivier. Her dreamlike, liberating vision infuses the image with a mystical aura, reminding us that Medusa is not a mere ornament &mdash; she is the soul, the threshold, the warning.
Then comes Southern Italy, captured in black and white by Andrea Modica, where youth flourishes under the Mediterranean sun. A reconnection with Versace's legacy, deeply rooted in the lands of the South, between sea and memory.
In a leap forward in time, Steven Meisel revives the spirit of the 90s with the archives of Istante, immortalized in New York in the spring of 1997. An era, a look, a way of being: the elegant provocation of Versace at its peak.

Body, words, gestures – Embodied emotion

Artist Collier Schorr extends this look at intimacy with new illustrations, exploring the tensions between desire and gaze, modesty and exposure. Alongside him, a rare photograph: the Bronzi di Riace, ancient sculptures photographed at their first public presentation in 1981 &mdash; two nude bronze figures, provocative and sacred. A monumental sexuality, offered to the world.
Then, Eileen Myles 's poetry bursts forth, raw, instinctive. Put It Back is a visceral response to the call of the body, to that frank physicality that defines the Versace aesthetic. Like a breath between two heartbeats.
This energy also materializes in movement: Olly Elyte creates Ponyboy, a space for bodies to express themselves freely, between New York and Los Angeles. Dance as a language, as a gentle rebellion, as a union of the individual and the collective.
Finally, Binx Walton , a contemporary muse, crosses the image on a bicycle, captured by Stef Mitchell. An ode to irreverent youth, to the wind in the hair, to that freedom that only Versace knows how to stylize.

Founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace , the house was born from a simple but revolutionary desire: to liberate personal expression, to make fashion a manifesto. Even today, under the creative direction of Dario Vitale, Versace continues to dress entire lives &mdash; from the intimate to the spectacular &mdash; with the same audacity, the same rigor.
