Our writer Nikita Nawawi put the Huawei Mate 20 Series to the test in London when he attended the global launch event.

Autumn in London is always a treat and there I was, dawdling over the ever-swarming Oxford Street, with the new <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/art/huawei-mate-20-pro-what-is-inside-2018-overview?draft=4c246634-efff-44c5-a6ee-345b74cfb292&amp;updated_at=1542794240" target="_blank">Huawei Mate 20 Pro smartphone</a> in my hands, playing tourist and trying to decipher the city streets.

I had only one day to explore the Old Smoke and you&rsquo;d best believe that I wasn&rsquo;t planning on wasting it &ndash; I&rsquo;d even come up with the whole itinerary (one of the upsides of being the travel tyrant that I am)!

To see the leaves turning gold, every so often flutter in the soft gushes of wind before falling to the ground &ndash; it&rsquo;s a sight to behold. It was about 11&deg;C outside, and although the sun was burning the ground ferociously, beyond what I had expected, the chilled air from yesterday&rsquo;s drizzle lingered.

The historic St. Paul&rsquo;s Cathedral was my first stop of the day. I&rsquo;ve always admired the Victorian architectures and having the chance to witness this majestic icon of an institution was such a privilege.

Thanks to Huawei Mate 20 Pro&rsquo;s staggering wide-angle lens, I managed to immortalise the experience in the form of&nbsp;photographs. I even pestered some friendly passers-by to snap a photo of myself for a good measure, because&hellip;OOTDs!

St. Paul’s Cathedral

I&rsquo;ve been an avowed follower of American artist Jenny Holzer for quite some time now, so missing her empowering, neo-feminist exhibition at the Tate Modern was not an option.

Transfixed by the razor-sharp quotes like &ldquo;Expiring for love is beautiful but stupid&rdquo; and &ldquo;Protect me from what I want&rdquo;, I took it out to the streets and turned on the drama with the AI Cinema video effect that renders both colour and black-and-white images in just one shot.

Lunch time! It&rsquo;s true what they say that no one does fish and chips quite like the Brits. I headed to Kennedy&rsquo;s Restaurant on Whitecross Street for some and it was life-changing.

Fresh and tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside, the meal also came with a generous portion and equally lip-smacking sides. Lucky for me, Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with Food mode that captures images as crisp as the batter coating itself.

It was no surprise that London weather fluctuates (a lot) and by the time I reached the London Eye, it was already pouring.

But rather than dwelling on the inevitable, I took it as the perfect opportunity to test out Huawei Mate 20 Pro&rsquo;s triple Leica camera that supposedly thrives in a low-light environment and as proven by these photos (sans my personal flaw in photo-taking skills), I think we can all agree that Huawei indeed walks the talk.

London Eye

As a self-proclaimed movie buff, I try to literally&nbsp;follow in the footsteps of the filmmakers that I have high regard for, whenever I can.

In this case, I travelled to the outskirts of London via London Underground (the Tube) just to relive the cinematic moments in Roger Michell and Julia Roberts&rsquo; Notting Hill.

The candy-coloured houses, quaint little cafes and the greenery that enveloped the neighbourhood gave me the much-needed change of pace.

The city is not underendowed when it comes to its nightlife. From the ritzy clubs in the West End to the upscale theatres (in fact, London Film Festival was happening during my stay there), travellers are spoiled with options.

But I was feeling a little bit risqu&eacute; and I had heard great things about the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.

Hosted by avant-garde cabaret artist David Hoyle and headlined by Irish kween&nbsp;Veda, it was truly a night of&hellip;self-expression, to say the least (and to keep it PG).
