Time to get yourself immersed in the chic French culture with Le French Festival 2018.

Back for the 17th edition, Le French Festival is an annual affair in Malaysia that celebrates everything that defines the French culture.

Be it gastronomy, visual arts or film, you can now immerse yourself in the best France has to offer from&nbsp;12th April to 20th May 2018 in four major cities including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Johor Bahru.

Partnering with Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Le French Festival will play host to the annual French Film Festival, which showcases the best of French cinema &ndash; both major productions and indie variations.

From Cessez-le-feu&nbsp;and L&#39;Atelier to&nbsp;Dans la for&ecirc;t and&nbsp;Ce qui nous lie, GSC will be screening a list of French films in select cinemas nationwide.

List of cinemas include Mid Valley, 1 Utama and Pavilion KL in Kuala Lumpur; Gurney Plaza in Penang, Paradigm in Johor Bahru and Suria in Sabah.

The world of French Film

Known for their classic and contemporary music repertoire, French music band Duo Jatekok will be on stage for two nights of live performances at No Black Tie, Kuala Lumpur.

For their performances in KL, Duo Jaketok will be showcasing numbers from their latest album&nbsp;Les Boys, a tribute to the eponymous duo of American pianists.

Scheduled on 26th and 27th April from 930pm onwards, they will be performing at No Black Tie on Jalan Mesui.

Held at Sutra Foundation, Le French Festival will see a unique photography and art exhibition by renowned artist Chris Morin Eitner.

Titled &quot;Once Upon A Time Tomorrow&quot;, the exhibition focuses on Chris photographing iconic monuments in various cities he visited including Eiffel Tower in Paris, Statue of Liberty in New York and more.

And each of these photographs is painted with astonishing superimpositions of vegetation to illustrate a post-apocalyptic world.

And for his exhibition in KL, Chris will also be shooting and painting a rendition of our very own Petronas Twin Tower.

The exhibition is open to the public (free-of-charge) at the Sutra Foundation on Persiaran Titiwangsa 3, Kuala Lumpur.

Once Upon A Time Tomorrow

She is celebrated for her amazing culinary menus that has wowed the Malaysian food scene time and again.

And now for Le French Festival, chef Nathalie&nbsp;Arbefeuille will be hosting a special cooking class at her&nbsp;establishment&nbsp;Nathalie Gourmet Studio at Publika&nbsp;to share her culinary secrets with you.

Split into three classes on 28th April (macaroons, baguettes and pasta), each class will focus on a signature French ingredient and how to master it.

A play adapted from Stefan Zweig&rsquo;s short story, starring award-winning actor&nbsp;Alexis Moncorg&eacute;, AMOK is a thrilling theatre play loved by the French.

And now you can experience the amazing theatrics of AMOK at Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC) on 4th and 5th May at 830PM.

Featuring a tale of a young doctor running away from Malaysia who met a mysterious woman and turns obsessive of her, this play is one that will bring a chill down to your spine.
