As we head into total lockdown in Malaysia, we summarised what you need to know about the latest movement control and how you can play your part to break the chain.

In view of the increasing cases, Malaysia will undergo the Full Movement Control Order&nbsp;(FMCO) that starts from 1st June to 14th June 2021 nationwide.

In this period of time, all economic and social activities are forbidden to operate with the exception of essential businesses. Only 2 people per household are allowed to travel in same vehicle for daily necessities, while for taxis and e-hailing services, only 2 passengers (including the driver) are allowed in a car.

Interstate and interdistrict travel are also banned and&nbsp;police have increased roadblocks from 600 to 800 nationwide starting 1st June to prevent unauthorised crossings and all MITI letters need to be reapplied and reapproved&nbsp;in observance of new SOP.

Here, we summarised what you need to know about the latest movement control:

<ol>
	<li>All economic and social activities are prohibited with the exception of certain economic sectors such as food and beverage, health and medical care, veterinary clinic, security, logistic service, banking, agriculture, fishing and more. Check the full list&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mkn.gov.my/web/ms/sop-pkp/">here</a>.</li>
	<li>Restaurants and eateries are operating for delivery&nbsp;and takeaway services (mostly operating&nbsp;from 8 AM-8 PM). Dine-in is strictly not allowed.</li>
	<li>Interstate travel for the whole country is not allowed.</li>
	<li>Only 2 people per household are allowed to travel in the same car for daily necessities with travel distance limited to 10km. (3 people per vehicle is allowed for emergency circumstances.)</li>
	<li>For taxis and e-hailing services, only 2 passengers (including the driver) are allowed in one vehicle.</li>
	<li>All MITI travel letters for work purposes need to be reapplied from 1st June onwards. All previous MITI letters will be voided effective immediately.</li>
	<li>Permission letter is not required to travel for vaccination appointments. You only need to show the details of appointment or verification on MySejahtera app if asked by authorities.</li>
	<li>Outdoor recreational activities are permitted for&nbsp;non-contact individual exercise before 8 PM.</li>
