Luckily, the major streaming services &mdash; Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime Video &mdash; have you covered with all new titles&nbsp;to keep you entertained between rounds of egg nog this holiday season.

So before you post up on the couch for yet another rewatch of Grey&#39;s Anatomy (all 16 seasons of it), stream one of these 11 new TV shows and movies dropping in December 2020.

In the same vein as the CW&#39;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lili-reinhart-riverdale-hustlers-anxiety-swimming-lessons-poems">Riverdale</a> and Nancy Drew, Hulu&#39;s new TV adaptation of the beloved books series The Hardy Boys takes a darker approach to wholesome source material.

The series, which some have compared to shows like <a href="https://collider.com/the-hardy-boys-tv-series-hulu-trailer/">True Detective</a>, follows Frank and Joe Hardy as they spend the summer in Bridgeport uncovering the truth about the townspeople.

In Sound of Metal, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/asian-america/riz-ahmed-sound-metal-oscar-buzz-exploring-diverse-roles-n1248176">Riz Ahmed</a> stars as a rock drummer and recovering drug addict Ruben. As his hearing begins to fade, Ruben struggles with the idea of losing his music.

However, when a friend introduces Ruben to other members of the hearing-impaired community, he begins accept his new normal.

David Fincher&#39;s <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/art/david-fincher-s-films-and-series-on-netflix-for-those-who-can-t-get-enough-of-mank">Mank</a> tells the story of Orson Welles collaborator Herman J. Mankiewicz as he writes&nbsp;Ctizen Kane, and the trials and tribulations of its production thereafter.

Gary Oldman stars as the titular screenwriter opposite Amanda Seyfriend as actress Marion Davies. The film also includes <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/personalities/interview-lily-collins-alber-elbaz-emily-in-paris-mank-and-tomorrow">Lily Collins</a> as&nbsp;Mankiewicz&#39;s secretary&nbsp;Rita Alexander, who inspires the name of Davies&#39; character Susan Alexander Kane in Citizen Kane.

When her creditability as a godmother is called into question, a young fairy&nbsp;godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) agrees to help a Boston news anchor (Isla Fisher)&nbsp;whose childhood wish never came true.

While fans will have to wait until at least 2021 for a second season for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/euphoria-makeup-celebrities">Euphoria</a>, HBO revealed that two <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/euphoria-season-2-zendaya-news-release-date-cast">special episodes</a> will be released in the meantime.

The first is set to premiere December 6 on HBO and HBO Max. Following the season one finale cliffhanger, the new episode, titled&nbsp;&quot;Trouble Don&#39;t Last Always,&quot; will depict Rue (<a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/zendaya-is-officially-the-new-face-of-maison-valentino">Zendaya</a>) as she spends&nbsp;Christmas with her family.

Euphoria

Adapted from the popular Japanese manga series, the live-action Alice in Borderland series follows three friends as they work together&nbsp;to survive after becoming trapped in an alternate universe.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sex-and-fashion-in-ryan-murphys-hollywood">Ryan Murphy</a> is back with a new movie-musical&nbsp;that will have you singing, dancing, and probably crying. After the head of the PTA&nbsp;bars Emma (Jo Ellen Pellman) from attending the prom with her girlfriend, four stage actors&nbsp;experiencing career&nbsp;lows pack up and head to Indiana to help Emma for a bout of good press.

Even though they fail to get the attention they wanted, they nevertheless do whatever it takes to give Emma the prom she deserves.

The limited docuseries The Ripper, has arrived&nbsp;<a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/81006684">Netflix</a>&nbsp;and it&nbsp;takes viewers through Yorkshire, England in the 1970s.

Almost a century after the serial killer Jack the Ripper terrorized London, British authorities struggle&nbsp;to capture Peter Sutcliffe, who was then known as the Yorkshire Ripper.&nbsp;

The FRipper

Adapted from a play of the same name, Ma Rainey&#39;s Black Bottom stars <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/viola-davis-michelle-obama-2019">Viola Davis</a> as the titular character in 1920s Chicago.

The film also includes&nbsp;the late&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/black-panther-royal-red-carpet">Chadwick Boseman</a> in his final role following his <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/28/movies/chadwick-boseman-dead.html">death</a> in August 2020. The movie takes place over the course of one afternoon in the recording studio.&nbsp;As the characters fight for creative control to solidify their futures, they must also reconcile with their pasts.
