Marking their 10th anniversary this year, SEVENTEEN celebrated the milestone with a remarkable full album and a series of unique activations in Seoul.

Debuting on 26th May 2015 with the first mini album 17 Carat featuring the title track Adore U, SEVENTEEN has come a long way and has become one of the most successful K-Pop acts in the world.
From being the first K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza Berlin in 2024 to achieving the highest first sales in Hanteo history for their 10th mini album FML, at 3.99 million copies, and as the second K-pop boy group to perform at Japan's Nissan Stadium, following the legendary TVXQ!, their achievements go on for miles.

To celebrate their tenth year in the industry, the 13-member group unveiled their fifth full album Happy Burstday&nbsp;that has recorded viral success globally.
More than just a celebration of their 10th anniversary, it&rsquo;s a layered love letter to fans filled with hidden messages, symbolic visuals, and clever callbacks. From subtle nods to past eras to deeply personal touches by each member, Happy Burstday is packed with Easter eggs that reward Carats who pay close attention. 
Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer diving into their story, here are 10 hidden details that make this album even more meaningful.

SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) 'THUNDER' Official MV

1. B-Day Party at Jamsu Bridge
As a pre-launch party for the album and to celebrate their 10th anniversary, SEVENTEEN took over Banpo Han River Park in Seoul to host a 3-day "B-Day Party" festival where fans from all over the world gathered for various activities and activation.
As the highlight, SEVENTEEN also hosted a special live stage on Jamsu Bridge to showcase their latest album, and they became the first K-Pop group to have done such an incredible feat. The previous phenomenal takeover of the bridge was a fashion show by Louis Vuitton.
2. A collaboration with Pharrell Williams
And speaking of Louis Vuitton, the album features a track titled Bad Influence, which is produced in collaboration with Pharrell (who is the creative director for men's collection). This song was first teased at the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 men's show at Paris Fashion Week and features only 9 members (S. Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) due to other brand obligations from the other members.

3. 13 solo tracks for each member
In addition to the three group songs, HBD, Thunder and Bad Influence, each member released their own solo track for this fifth album, totalling 16 tracks, showcasing their personal growth and musical evolution, emphasising the group's unity and individual artistry.
Some of them worked with various composers and artists like Timbaland, BTS&lsquo; longtime producer PDogg and K-indie singer Ha Hyunsang, while others wrote and composed their tracks for the album.
4. HAPPY BURSTDAY
A new chapter for SEVENTEEN, embracing evolution and fearlessness, the fifth full album titled Happy Burstday is a wordplay on "Happy Birthday" to mark the group's 10th anniversary. If you count the characters on "Happy Burstday", it is exactly 13 letters, resembling the 13-member group.
The word burst is also used to reflect an explosive rebirth as the group welcomes a new milestone and new beginning.
5. Mingyu's Shake It Off
For this album, Mingyu wrote and composed his solo song titled Shake It Off, which is also his first ever solo, in collaboration with rising hip-hop producer IOAH. An electric dance-rap track, the song also paid tribute to Calvin Klein, one of the many brands he endorses at the moment.

6. Google celebrates SEVENTEEN
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, Google also made a special feature on their website where you can pop confetti on their search engine when you search for the term "Seventeen". Showers of blue and pink confetti and diamonds will come raining down on the results page with a click of a button.
7. Bumzu and Kitae wrote Woozi's solo track
As the man behind most of Seventeen's songs, Woozi took a step back when it came to his solo song for the album. Instead, he let Bumzu and Park Kitae (both long-time producers for Seventeen with Woozi) to write Destiny,&nbsp;where the two producers pay tribute to some of Woozi's most prominent musical achievements and his journey.

8. Nana BnB with SEVENTEEN
A longtime collaborator and close friend to the boys, PD Nah Young Seok returns to kidnap them on another whirlwind trip, a sequel to the much-loved Nana Tour, to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Titled "Nana BnB", this new variety show, produced by eggiscoming (known for other shows like Earth Arcade and Jinny's Kitchen), takes SEVENTEEN to a secluded staycation where they play games, cook and enjoy the countryside.
9. Stars aligned for Jun and Hoshi
Track 13, titled "쌍둥이자리 (Gemini)," is Jun's solo, which has reference to his horoscope as a Gemini born on 10th June, and the album was released during Gemini season, aligning with SEVENTEEN's debut date of May 26. What makes it more interesting is that Hoshi, also a Gemini born five days (15th June) apart from Jun, has his solo on Track 8. Their tracks are five apart, mirroring their birthday difference.
10. SEVENTEEN 10th Anniversary experience with Airbnb
What better way to celebrate a decade of incredible music and SEVENTEEN history than an immersive experience curated by the group themselves. As an extension to their 10th anniversary celebration, SEVENTEEN joined hands with Airbnb to create a unique experience for lucky CARATs on 4th June 2025.
From designing a &ldquo;VERY NICE&rdquo; custom jacket (in rose quartz, of course) and walking the red carpet to reliving 10 incredible years of music history as SEVENTEEN takes the stage to share their favourite stories and funny moments, this is one event unlike any other.&nbsp;
